An augmented Alexander matrix and an affine extension of a quandle

Abstract:
We introduce an augmented Alexander matrix, 
from which the twisted Alexander invariant and the quandle cocycle invariant are obtained. 
An augmented Alexander matrix is defined by using an augmented Alexander pair, 
which corresponds to an affine extension of a quandle.
