Title: On the freeness of hyperplane arrangements over arbitrary fields.

Abstract: In this talk I will recall the basic properties of hyperplane arrangements 
and their freeness. Moreover, I will describe the relations between freeness over 
the rationals and over fields of finite characteristic.
