This is a joint conference of "Intelligence of Low Dimensional Topology 2008" and "the Extended KOOK Seminor" on low dimensional topology, in honor of Akio Kawauchi to celebrate his 60th birthday. It will be held in the Media Center building of Osaka City University from October 6 to October 8, 2008.
